Privacy policy

Ship Ship is a Shopify app operated by Waterwitch Studios. This policy describes the limited information the app processes for merchants who install it.

Information we process

The app stores the merchant shop domain, Shopify authorization session, and shop-level shipping settings. It reads product variant identifiers, titles, SKUs, and the merchant-managed shipping-pool metafield needed to audit configuration.

Information we do not store

The app does not request or store customer names, addresses, email addresses, payment information, order histories, or checkout contents. Shopify executes the shipping Function in its checkout runtime and does not send that cart data to our app server.

Why we use merchant data

We use the information solely to install, configure, audit, and disable the merchant’s shipping rule; secure the app; and respond to support requests. We do not sell personal information or use merchant data for advertising.

Retention and deletion

Shop settings and authorization sessions are deleted after Shopify sends the app-uninstalled or shop-redaction webhook. We may retain minimal security logs for a limited period where necessary to protect the service.

Service providers

Shopify processes checkout and merchant authorization data. The app’s hosting and database providers process only the app data described above under their service agreements.
